If there’s a way for Charlotte to be an animal She’s as happy as a pig in poo. LOL Even moreso if we are down on the ground with her. Sore knees!

Hi Mary.

I fell in love with Taos, New Mexico when I was in your neck of the woods and I loved that a Racoon jumped on our car roof at Yosemite National Park. Your wild animals are fabulous, but at least we don't have to feel nervous about being attacked by kangaroos as you do with bears. That always wigged me out when bush walking in America & Canada. Kangaroos have been known to be quite nasty, but not often and only when feeling cornered. They are quite a majestic creature.

How cool are they? And how cute is your daughter???? I grew up in New Mexico, which is called the Land of Enchantment for many reasons. The desert southwest is totally different from Michigan, where I live now. In New Mexico, it was common to see Roadrunners (the state bird) and armadillos in the streets. Here in Michigan we see (and hit….with our vehicles…on accident) deer, sometimes fox, lots of raccoons and skunks. Some people see elk and bear too, though I have yet to see any in the almost 25 years I've lived here. But, my whole point in telling you that was, how cool is it to see kangaroo….on the beach?! I would totally love that!!!
