I’m going to be brief again tonight. I’m still somewhat under the weather. I just want to share with you a couple of YouTube videos that are truly amazing, though. I sat watching them totally gobsmacked and shaking my head in awe as were the judges for ‘Ukraines Got Talent’.

Do yourselves a favour, grab a cuppa, kick back for approximately 13 minutes (more if you watch the other similar vids) and marvel at the creative talent of this woman. Her name is Kseniya Simonova. Just Google her name and that should get you there. For me a mixture of emotions came up in watching this form of art. It is always overwhelming and a treat to see an Artist at work, so I was pretty teary throughout, but the subject matter is quite emotive, too.

By watching these sand animations, I am reminded of the Buddhist belief of non attachment and the Sand Mandalas done by the Tibetan Monks. They painstakingly work for days on their creation then whoosh! in one fell swoop, they’ve wiped the slate clean.
