I'm trying to understand the techie stuff, just because I'm enjoying the thrill of it when I work something out or finally understand something ie the Pingbacks. Still, I don't think I could explain it to someone else just yet.

Nice to see your face up there, Rob :-)

Hi Christine,

I just tell everyone I'm an idiot with technology. I still don't really understand all the pingback stuff fully. It's what you have to say that is most important.

Hello Rob and thanks for commenting. I do think pausing for awhile to do, read or watch something amusing is a good stressbuster.

I'm new (think I'll be saying that for a few years, so that I can cover my mistakes lol) and just realised how a Pingback works (I think). Much appreciated for inadvertently teaching me something else.

[...] We often talk about stress in very serious terms (especially me), so it was like a breathe of fresh air when I came across this post on ways to combat stress. [...]

I'm so glad you responded, Debra. I actually chose this one with you in mind, not for the ADHD thing in mind, but the renovations. lol Peter is constantly doing much needed renovations here, too, so I know about the noise factor :-(

Oh My! You gave me a giggle.

"And finally for those with ADHD tendencies: ‘If you ever feel overwhelmed by life, take your mind off it by beginning some home renovations.’"

So Funny! I did do some home renovations this summer and it does take your mind off "Everything". Who can think with the hammers and saws starting at 6 a.m.???

I had a permanent Brain Drain for several months.

Finally I'm back on track and motivated. Now where did I put my hammer?

:0) Debra

Hi Tishia. I so rarely wear makeup and I would love more opportunities to look glam. Going OUT to work isn't one of 'em. Maybe I should get up an hour early, but you have to go to bed to be able to do that! LOL

I have read many times that there is some merit in getting dressed to go to work when you work from home and I find once I'm showered and dressed even if it's just in my casual gear I also feel more ready for the day.

I sooo couldn't go out to work for someone again and love the WAHM gig. I'm determined to get a handle on it.

Stress? What's that? Hahahaha just kidding! Yes working from home certainly does provide a certain amount of stresses to my life. But I'd also never change it for anything! It's not very often that a single mom can say she's working from home and doing it successfully!

So anyways I had to laugh about the whole looking glamorous thing. I'm all about working in my PJs, hair pulled back, etc. But I do have to be truthful and say that on the days I do get 'ready for work' by doing my make-up, getting dressed, etc I find myself a lot more productive and successful feeling!
