A drop or two of lavender oil on the damp dust cloth does wonders for fragrance as well as it’s natural cleaning/disinfecting power!

Old cloth nappies cut up work well for us!

Will head home tonight to roll some towels, I think this may solve my leaning-tower-of-towels issue.

Mary, I’m the only one who folds the washing around here for the most part, anyway. Teaching others (when they probably won’t follow through, anyway) would complicate things, I imagine

Keeping house is all about keeping it simple. And these are simple tips!

I especially like the one about rolling your towels – seriously, we have so much to do around the house that we shouldn’t worry about folding and re-folding towels.

Those are great tips!!! I roll my towels too…now if only I could get everyone else to.

I like the damp cloth for dusting idea. I’ll have to start using that one because I hate dusting and I’m all about efficiency and convenience!
