The title says it all really. I have been doing the Blog Internship with Kelly McCausey at MomMasterminds as mentioned in my post on ‘Going For Gold’ and part of the ‘homework’ is to find some WAHM’s in my niche area.  It has been a bit of a journey for me. There are so many great people to follow, but narrowing it down to my niche area felt tricky, being new to it all.

Anyway, here are a few WAHM’s out of many that I would like to recommend and why.

  • Genesis Davies has the At Home Mom Blog. She is well informed and writes on serious topics, but throws in some humour which is right up my alley.
  • Mary Lutz is the Efficient WAHM. Mary is also a MomMasterminds member and She has been incredibly supportive of me since I began my own WAH journey around mid year. She’s just an all ’round lovely person to connect with.
  • Carrie Lauth’s  Blah Blah Blog (What a great name) started it all for me even though She isn’t aware of it. This is my way of saying thanks to her. Besides having a wide variety of topics that She covers that are close to my heart, Carries website also directed me to MomMasterminds.
  • Adele Sweeney has Diary Of  A WAHM. She has a very down to earth approach to blogging and I can relate to the depression that She openly speaks of. Adele has 3 children, I have one child, but depression doesn’t really give a damn! It’s just there waiting in the wings for whatever moment suits it.
  • Finally, Katie Byrd is SharpMom.com She has been working at home and Homeschooling her kids for many years. Anyone that goes down the Homeschooling track gets my attention. It is my hearts desire to do the same and really we’re all Homeschoolers until our kids go to school.

So, I hope you enjoy my choice of WAHM’s. There are many more to follow and I look forward to doing  just that. Feel free to share your favourites with me. I’m always looking for new connections.
